How do you organize your blog in terms of what is in your side bar? Do you have categories and defined sections in your side bar?
I have a left sidebar and a right side bar. On the left I have a few buttons, photos of my dog and cats, what I’m reading-listening to, my GoodReads challenge, links to follow me, and links to good causes. On the right I have links to my favorite blogs, movie sites, and other sites I visit.

1. I challenge everyone to do at least one random act of kindness this week.

2. I regret disposing of  the wicker baskets that I used to collect.

3. I have a difficult time admitting that my body isn’t as young as my mind thinks it is.

4. If I were given a psychic power, I would like it to be that I could tell what people were really feeling. Like when you ask someone how they are and they say they’re ok, but you know that they aren’t.

1. My idea of roughing it is having no electricity. I’m addicted to having a ceiling fan or other fan on, as well as the tv. I can be sound asleep and if the electricity goes out I immediately wake up. Plus, I don’t like not being able to get on my laptop.

2. I never get sick of talking about my cats and dog. They are a big part of my life and keep me entertained every day.

3. My youth was amazing! I had the best parents, and they always made sure I was having fun. Roller skating, ice skating, camping, swimming, Girl Scouts, going to the movie theater, concerts, musicals. We also had a camper that we used in the summer on weekends, and we lived at a lake so I could fish off our dock or go out in the boat. I had older sisters who were married with children, so family get together’s were always fun. I miss those days.

4. My “golden years” are creeping up way faster than I want them too. But I am looking forward to them.

“The billy-goat woods,” Sergeant Hughes called it. The locals’ term for this patch of forest, known for  repelling hunters and holding in snow, is “the Jarsey,” sharing a name with the unpaved Jarsey Road, which cuts through it.

What do you do with books you no longer want? Do you donate them? Do you take them to a half-price bookstore? Does a friend or family member benefit?
I donate them to my local libraries and give them to family members.

1. I have googled many things, mostly new to me words because I want to know what they mean.

2. I have bought a lot of stuff, and even sold a few things, on Ebay.

3. I think I want to go on a walk at a nearby trail that goes alongside a river. It’s so relaxing there.

4. Not everyone thinks like I do, and that’s ok. I love hearing other peoples thoughts on things. Sometimes they make me look at things differently.

Life After Life by Katie Ganshert

She felt beckoned. Impossible enticed. Like an alcoholic staring down a snifter filled with the finest cognac. She nodded slightly and walked through the gate.

Question: Do you re-arrange and move books around on the shelves or move books off of your bookshelves to another area after a certain amount of time or do you just leave them the way they are?

I don’t move my books around on the shelves, but I have moved all my bookshelves into three different rooms in my house. I’ll be moving soon to a much smaller house so I need to keep only the ones that I really want to keep. When I move there won’t be enough rooms to move the shelves from one room to the next.
