  1. I like your meal plan and the slow cooker has been put to use here. I threw some boneless chicken and a bottle of BBQ sauce in yesterday and we had pulled chicken for lunch.

  2. Your park looks nice!

    best… mae at maefood.blogspot.com

    • Thanks Mae, it is. It has a ballfield, a recreation/meeting hall, and a beautiful Gazebo where
my oldest son and daughter in law got married.

  3. I used my crock pot for the first time this fall to make Beef Stew, it was yummy as the weather has been cool and this warmed us up. Hope you are enjoying Small Things Like These. Have a great week.

  4. Loved Small Things Like These!

I’m pretty happy being right where I am in Ireland, but we are thinking of taking a trip to Albania next year.

    Enjoy the day!

  5. I should try the crock pot peppered beef tips. It sounds good.

I enjoyed the first couple of episodes of Survivor. Interesting cast this season.

    Great pic of the park.

I hope you have a great week!

    • I’ll probably make the beef tips tomorrow, I think they sound good too!

I’ve watched every episode of Survivor and The Amazing Race. I watch every episode of all my favorite shows.

Thanks, I go to the park every so often just to sit and look. I love it there.

  6. Thank you so much for reminding me that Amazing Race has started. My mom told me but I completely forgot. I am going to go and watch right now. Perfect thing to do on a Sunday!

  7. I love using my crockpot/Instapot and you’ve reminded me to use it again! I do enjoy Amazing Race and I hadn’t realized it had started again (the Amazing Race Canada just ended). I hope you have a wonderful week ahead!

  8. The park look like a nice place to be. Albania is on our to visit list so hopefully we can find a great deal.

    • From what I know, Albania is beautiful! I hope you get to go and share a lot of photos on your blogs!

The park is nice and a very relaxing place to spend some time.

  9. It was much cooler here today (64), but Ian coming through cooled things off. I hope you are able to enjoy cooler weather soon!

  10. I want to use my air fryer more – bacon brussels sprouts sounds yummy! The Beef Tips as well!

  11. Fall does make me think more about actually cooking – soups and chilis, etc. Not quite yet though, the weather is still warm and super nice here in Seattle. Sounds like you had a great week. Thanks for stopping by my blog (even if you didn’t know any of the books – that’s okay cuz there are sure LOTS out there).
Hope you have a great week and have a chance to read a good book.

  12. Your meal plan looks really good! I’m planning to put some beef stew in the crockpot this week.

The Tom Purcell memoir sounds like a good one.

Where would I go if I could take a trip anywhere in the world? That’s a hard question. Jerusalem would be good. We would also love to visit England, Ireland, Hawaii, Australia.

    Have a good week!

  13. The chicken ranch bowl from Tina’s blog has been calling my name. I definitely need to pick up the ingredients next time I’m at the store. Your meal plan sounds delicious! I think if I could go anywhere my first pick would be Ireland, Scotland, and England but I’d also love to take a road trip across the US. Have a great week!

  14. I like your easy crockpot dish. Makes me think of a crockpot meal to make too.

  15. That photo has some beautiful trees. Thanks for sharing it.

I will be interested in seeing what you think about Small Things Like These. I saw Diane’s comments about it, too.

  16. We love Survivor and the Amazing Race. We’ve seen all the series.

  17. Can;t think of where I’d like to go since I’ve been blocked, like many others, at every turn, first by covid and then by the hurricane. Ian seemed to want to go where I wanted to go, sigh. Have a good week.
