Grateful For:
You may remember my blog theme was upgraded and I had all kinds of problems with it, especially with the posting and font. I worked on fixing it for a few weeks but got way too aggravated  so I asked my son to try to fix it and within 30 minutes it was backed to to the previous version!

  1. Happy New Year Vicki! Hope 2022 is a great year for you. Your dog is a sweetie! I think I’d like to read How the Other Half Eats – sounds like a good NF.

  2. Happy New Year! I hope you have a wonderful year of reading, laughter, family, and friends.

  3. Happy New Year! Your dog is so cute!

The book on food inequality sounds very interesting!

  4. Vicki, wishing you a Happy New Year! Your pup is always the most precious. Hope you have a good week! P.S. I always love reading which Bible verse you share with us. 🙂

    • I wish you a Happy New Year too! Thanks, I think Kaiyo is adorable! Such a cute little face 🙂

Thanks, it’s nice to know the Bible verses are appreciated!

  5. Happy New Year, Vicki! I’m glad your son was able to get your blog back on track. I know how frustrating that is. Our high is expected to be 20° today so I’m a bit jealous of your warmth. Have a great week!

    • I was so upset when my posting format changed so drastically. I tried for several months to get used to it but I just couldn’t. Posting was in blocks and other things I knew nothing about and it was so aggravating. I was very happy when he put it back to the way it had been for years. I couldn’t figure out how to put it back to the original format but he did in just a few minutes 🙂 I would love your weather if it came with snow!

  6. Grandma Gatewood’s Walk is on my TBR. I never thought to find an audio version of it.

Our temperature this morning was -14, your weather sounds lovely .

    Happy New Year!

    • Most of my books are audio’s. I listen while driving, doing housework, cooking, etc. I grew up in Ohio and miss all the snow so I’d love that weather if it snowed. I did see a little in Dec. of ’19 but I want to see it deep! Happy New Year!

  7. Happy New Year!! What an adorable puppy. May she bring you lots of love and joy.

I also still have a few review copies left from last year, will hopefully get to it in the next couple of days.

Have a good week and happy reading.

  8. Oh wow–could Kaiyo be any cuter? Hope she had a happy birthday and that 2022 has started off well for her, you, and your loved ones!

  9. It’s been so chilly here. I wouldn’t mind it getting into the 80’s. We have had clear skies the last couple days after heavy rain (much needed). I am glad your son was able to help with your blog! It looks like you are reading some great books. Happy Birthday to Kaiyo! She’s so adorable. Animals really enrich our lives, don’t they? I hope you have a Happy New Year and a great week!

    • I wouldn’t mind temps in the 20’s or 30’s if it brought some snow with it, I miss snow a lot! I love Kaiyo and my cats Boots and Jaspurr. Never been without animals for more than a few months since I was a child.

Happy New Year! I hope you have a great week too.

  10. Kaiyo is sooo cute! I’m glad you found each other.

  11. Happy Birthday to Kaiyo! What a cutie!

Hope you have a great week and Happy New Year!

  12. Happy New Year Vicki! Love the picture of Kaiyo. She has such sweet eyes and looks so patient in her hat. Have a great week!
