Blue Spring State Park looks stunning!

Wishing you a great reading week

  4. That water is really really clear!!

  5. Blue Spring looks inviting, especially in this heat! Pretty photo. Loving your In The Kitchen this week, I’d eat all of that menu.

    • We hadn’t planned on stopping there but when we saw how close it was to where we were, we decided to go check it out and I’m so glad we did. It was beautiful!

  6. Wow. I love that beautiful spring. It’s been a long time since I’ve swum in a spring, but I remember both experiences, both cold and hot, as very positive.

Looks like I need to find out more about Falling. It’s a new-to-me title.

We had both hamburgers and chicken tacos last week, too. It feels like it is about time I looked into making potato soup again.

    • The spring was so nice, I’m so glad we stopped to check it out!

Falling is one of the best books I’ve read so far this year!

I love potato soup but haven’t made it in a very long time. I’m excited to make it again.

  7. I’m seeing “Falling” everywhere. It sounds very good so I put it on my library holds list. I was thinking about purchasing the audio but, I have too many unread purchases already so I’ll wait. Can’t wait to read your review.

Thank blue springs picture is lovely! It reminds me of that Carribean sea color.

    Have a good week Vicki.

    • I’m glad I got the audio of Falling, makes all the tension seem so “real”. I’ll be looking for your thoughts on the print version.

  8. Falling, I want to read that after I finish the Midnight Library

  9. That is definitely blue!

I put a hold on the book you mentioned last week, An Elderly Lady is Up to No Good. It’s on order, but I’m first on the list. And after I read about that one, I decided to try the first book in the series. Someone has that out, but I’m next 🙂

    • Elderly Lady was a DNF for me, but I may try again at a later date. I’ll be looking forward to your review of it. As far as I knew it’s not part of a series, what is the name of the other book?

  10. That’s a gorgeous picture!

  11. That picture looks so beautiful and refreshing!

  12. Love your from the camera. What a beautiful summer place.

Pizza tonight (homemade) burgers tomorrow. Baby back ribs and pork shoulder on the menu this week.

Have a fabulous day and week ahead. ♥

  13. Ok. I love the books you’re reading, I love the format of your blog….SOLD! I’m subscribing to your blog! Thank you for sharing!

  14. That’s quite a swimming hole! I’d like to go there, I’m putting it on my someday list. I’m glad you’re enjoying the Falling book! Wow it seems like quite a thriller! Enjoy.

  15. How is Before the kids & mortgage?

    Falling is on my list!

I want to swim in the blue springs!

  16. Blue Spring State Park looks absolutely gorgeous. Chicken Street Tacos sound like a perfect dinner. And now I’m curious about Falling. I hope you have a wonderful week!

  17. Hope the blue skies last! That is a stunning pool of water, the ones in the UK are generally freezing cold and murky, lol. Happy reading!

  18. Blue Spring State Park is so pretty! I’ll have to see if we can take a little detour on our way this fall. The premise of Falling sounds so gripping… will keep an eye out for your final thoughts.

  19. I have Falling on my list … maybe I’ll listen. Wow! Love that photo.

  20. Yes, Falling was quite the ride.

That swimming hole is so cool. Look at the color of that water. We don’t see that here.

    • Falling is SO GOOD, I’ve been hanging on every word from the first sentence was spoken! I’m going to have to redo my top 10 books of all time list.

  21. Oh wow! Blue Springs State Park looks gorgeous! It’s terribly cold here with us and they are predicting rain for the rest of the week.

Still need to read and watch A Street Cat named Bob.

Hope you will have a good week and thanks for visiting us.

    • The water was a few different shades of blue and it was beautiful!

I want to read the Cat Named Bob 4 books series. I usually read the books and then watch the movie but I’m not sure I’ll do that this time.

  22. That is a gorgeous photo! Just looking at it cools me off.
    Falling sounds intense!
Have a great week, Vicki! I haven’t been blogging much but hope to resume before too long.

    • Thanks Susan, the spring was amazing in person.
Falling is intense, I’m loving it!

  24. That spring is beautiful. On this hot day I’d love to be there! Can’t wait to hear about how the street tacos turn out. If you have a great recipe to share I’d love it.

    • I’ll write a review on the street tacos when I make them. I may make them next week because I added another recipe to this week’s menu.

  25. I know this isn’t a highlight of your post, but you mentioned potato soup, which is one of my favorites. We actually make potato leek soup. So yummy!
