  1. Cuuuute llamas or alpacas or whatever they are!

  2. Love those alpacas, they look like they’re having a conversation by the feeder. 🙂

  3. At least they don’t have to keep 6 feet apart. Are they somewhere near by? Maybe I’d have room for a couple, they’re pretty cute.

    • There’s an Alpaca Farm near where I live and they allow people to visit. They also sell things made from their fleece, like blankets etc. If I had the land I’d like to have one or two. But, I moved from the country to town a few years ago.

  4. Loving the alpacas! We have a farm about 20-30 minutes from us, but I don’t go often enough. They make me smile.

  5. The alpacas are adorable!

This humidity combined with the fact that I haven’t had a haircut in over a year is turning my natural curls into mega-frizz. I can’t wait to be fully vaccinated and get a haircut. I’ll still be frizzy because of the humidity but at least it will be a smaller frizz ball!

    Enjoy your week!

    • My daughter has hair that is so thick that she almost always wore it in a ponytail. I took her to get it thinned out when she was a teenager and it took 3 women 4 hours to do it. It’s not as thick as it was then thank goodness but it’s still thick and she still wears it in a ponytail most of the time.

  6. I’m a little jealous of your weather. We were in the low 50s today but it felt cold! Cute alpacas!

    • We got a rain alert earlier and then we got 2 different tornado warnings around 9pm but so far haven’t heard one. Hopefully it dissipated.

  7. The alpaca picture is beautiful. I knew someone who raised them.Hope your week is somewhat relaxing Vicki.

  8. It’s pretty warm in my part of Florida, too, and I’m loving it 🙂 I want to see Thunder Force. I’ve always enjoyed Melissa McCarthy’s movies.

Hope you have a great week!

    • We’ve had a little bit of rain on and off the last couple of days but thankfully we didn’t get the tornado that was coming this way. Thunder Force was really good!

  9. Love the photo of the alpacas! Our weather has been warm and sunny, too… just about perfect. Hope you have a good week, Vicki.

  10. We had a cool front come through last week and it was misting rain and cool. I am going to enjoy these cool temperatures (50s this morning) while we have them.

Love, Clancy sounds like a great read. Dog stories are loved by almost everyone.

I’ve never seen alpacas. Wouldn’t that be a great pet?!

    • It’s been raining here on and off yesterday and today but not much.

      Love Clancy was very good!

Alpacas are so cute! I wish I’d gotten one when I lived out in the country.

  11. I have worked with some lovely alpaca yarn! I still have a couple of shawls I made using some–so soft and cosy!

    Enjoy your days off!

    • The shawls they had at the farm seemed like they’d be very warm.

I’m trying to figure out where to go that won’t have many people 🙂

  12. The Alpaca photo! Such a good catch.

It sounds like you had a good weekend. No big plans but maybe a little time to relax. I had a good weekend it just went by too fast. When church and youth group takes half a day on Sunday the weekend disappears in a snap.

    • I mostly just relaxed over the weekend. I don’t get both Sat. & Sun. off very often and when I do they definitely go by too fast.

      Have a great week!

  13. Oh those alpacas are hilarious! They look like they’re chatting. I always hate when it’s hot and cloudy skies. It feels somehow tons more oppressive. Have a great week!

  14. I love the llamas! Lookgn forward to your review of The Diary.
Our weather has been up and down with lots of rain then chilly then we get highs in the upper 70s!

  15. Ah, something about Llamas. We had friends who had one. She was the most curious critter ever. She’d have to come over and check us out whenever we visited.

    • They definitely are curious! If the see you they’ll walk over to you and just stand there looking at you. Glad we were allowed to pet them.

  16. I love that photo of the alpacas! It made me smile!
