  1. Don’t think they’re sending the message they want to send with that sign 🙂

I bet Love, Clancy is even funnier in audiobook than it was to read! The right reader would bring it to the next level.

Enjoy the rest of your day now that you’re done with work!

  2. The sign made me laugh. 🙂

  3. Love the sign! Last year (before Covid) we saw a sign on a Chinese Restaurant that proclaimed “FOOD YOU CAN EAT!” … after I stopped laughing, I figured it must be advertising an all-you-can-eat buffet. Have a good week 🙂

  4. I love seeing signs where someone has gotten it just a little wrong and it makes all the difference! I am looking for a new show to watch on the treadmill so maybe I’ll delve into All Creatures Great and Small.

  5. were open…. Love it!!

  6. That is a funny sign 🙂 All Creatures Great and Small series sounds really good. Yes, any baby steps toward normal or more normal is a great thing. Can’t believe how warm it is in FL today.

  7. “Were open”—punctuation matters! Love it. Happy week! My Sunday Salon post this week

  8. That Hawaiian grilled cheese sounds delicious!!! Too bad my next grocery run is a whole week away and GOOD LUCK TO ME trying to find Canadian bacon in Arkansas. I think I saw it at Walmart once. I suppose I could do regular ham or regular bacon.

Chili looks good too. I just made a batch in the slow cooker. Started it late in the day and then FORGOT ABOUT IT and went to bed. Woke up the next morning and LUCKILY it had not burnt or anything but there was not much liquid that’s for sure. It’ll be fine since I always add a ton of sour cream to my serving anyway and eat it on tortilla chips.

The Colonel and his silly sign…

I tried the Kit Kat mint duos last week and thought it was tasty.

    • No Canadian Bacon in Arkansas? That’s where my brother lives. We live in mostly hot hot hot Florida but love Chili all year round. Those Kit Kat bars are gooood!

  9. I enjoyed All Creatures Great and Small too. I’m hoping it will show up on one of my streaming services so I can watch season 1 again though I’ve debated getting the PBS passport. See what I read at Girl Who Reads

  10. Punctuation still matters 🙂
I’m glad you are enjoying your current reads.

Wishing you a great reading week

    • Yes, punctuation is very important. If they didn’t have an Apostrophe they could have put “We are open” but then it wouldn’t have been funny.

  11. it’s been hot here, too. I feel terrible for complaining, though; just last week I was sighing because it was too cold!

Love, Clancy looks like a great read. So glad you are enjoying it.

I’ve become a huge fan of All Creatures Great and Small. The books are wonderful and perfect for these not-normal times.

  12. To say I’m jealous of your weather is an understatement!

  13. That KFC sign. I would have to say something to them about it.

That Hawaiian sandwich looks like something my daughter would like. Possibly my son too. They love pineapple anything.

87? Wow. It was 50 degrees when we walked this morning.

    • I didn’t say anything about the sign, I figured there were other people out there who would find it funny and we all could use more funny right now.

The sandwich was very good! We love pineapple also.

Hopefully your weather will warm up soon. Our high is supposed to be 84° today.

  14. Thanks for your comment about Loki and what Kaiyo went through. It’s heart warming to know he will progress and get better with us. They still carry psychological scars from a bad beginning though.

Love the funny sign! Oh, I just had a Kit Kat mocha and dark chocolate, yu have to try it

    • Yes, recued dogs do get better, and I’m very thankful Kaiyo rarely ever has a flashback. And they are almost always related to a loud strange sound.

I don’t like Mocha so I’ll give that Kit Kat a pass 🙂
