You Carried Me: A Daughter’s Memoir by Melissa Ohden. My sister read this and loved it, so I’m hoping I do as well (I started it in 2020 sometime but only got a few pages in and stopped, wasn’t a good year for my reading)

  1. Best Christmas card ever!

Have a good week, stay safe, and enjoy your days off!

  2. Aaah how sweet is that card! Sensible shoes – haven’t heard of it, but it does sound like good advice.

    Have a good week!

  3. That Christmas card is the best! Hope you have a great week ahead!

  4. You must be beaming with the homemade Christmas card. It’s priceless!

  5. Best card I have seen in a while. I know you love it. You inspired me to join the Sunday Salon so we will see if I can keep up this year.

The sheet pan Asian stir fry sounds great. I like sheet pan meals.

    • Best card I’ve seen in a while too 🙂

I’m glad you’re going to join SS! I can’t wait to see your posts.

I love sheet pan meals. So easy to make and quick to clean up.

  6. What a great card! And I’m envious of your 63°!

  7. It’s been cool here in Texas this winter, too. We’ve only had to turn on the air conditioning one time.

You are the third person, Vicki, who read no books last week. Just a busy week, I think.

I like the idea of watching a renovation show. I bet we would all get lots of great ideas.

I’m focusing this year on being a force for love. It’s not by my own efforts, but by allowing the spirit to work through me.

    Aw, ♥ that card!

    • It warmed up for a few days but this morning when I left to go to work it was 45°, which is too cold for Florida!

The whole year of 2020 was terrible for my reading, and reviewing. I read quite a few books that I didn’t even review, some of them I loved. I just felt “off” all year. I didn’t see my family as much as I usually do, didn’t get to see my new great granddaughter very often, it was just a very tough year. I’m praying 2021 is a lot better.

I’ve watched HGTV for as far back as I can remember. I love all the house buying and renovating houses.

I love that you’re focusing on being a “force of love”! Can you imagine how awesome this world would be if we all focused on doing that?

That card is a keeper for sure!

  8. We watched Lakefront Bargain Hunt Renovation the other day. We watch the regular show but never the renovation one and it has been a lot of fun. I bet the beach version would be even more enjoyable.

  9. Oh my, that holiday card is priceless. So full of love. Have a wonderful week.

  10. What a special card!! The temperature finally dropped around dinnertime here… we’re in the mid-60s now. So comfortable! I haven’t tried tried that Polynesian sauce, but will look for it next time I’m in Publix. Have a great week!

  11. It was 45° when I left for work this morning. Not quite jacket weather but chillier than it should be. I love Chick-Fil-A’s Polynesian sauce. So glad you can buy it in the stores now!

  12. Your grandson’s card is sooo adorable 🙂 I keep my daughters’ cards that they sent me when they were little. Love the name of your pets ! Enjoy your week 🙂

    • Thanks, I think it’s adorable too! I kept a lot of my kids and grandkids stull too. I gave some of my daughter’s stuff to her a few years ago.

  13. What a sweet Christmas card! We were excited to find Chick fil A sauces at Publix (and to be back able to shop at Publix. I missed it so as they don’t have one in Memphis). My step-daughter is obsessed with the Polynesian sauce so we put a bottle in with her other Christmas presents. I hope you enjoy your reading and have a great week!

  14. We love that sauce too and now we can put it on anything we want 🙂
Putting a bottle in with your step daughters presents was a great idea!
