Jensen is getting big! Love the sound of chicken and dumplngs.
Jensen is starting to “talk”, roll over, be more alert, and sleep less. She is smaller in person than she looks in photos. My mom made the best chicken and dumplings I’ve ever had. Wish I had all of her recipes!
Great review of Anxious People. It took me longer than expected to get into it, but I stuck with it and am at 50% now… so quirky and good! Jensen is adorable!

I almost started listening to the Hoda Kotb book recently, but decided to do so at a later date. It’s in the e-audiobook section of the library, so it’ll be there when/if I feel like listening.

LOL! My 40 something kids wore those sleepers too! Then my grand kids, now my great grand daughter is wearing them… time flies!

I actually ordered twice, my daughter hosted a party and then my niece did so I ordered from both of them. Both orders were delayed but one finally came in. Still waiting on the second one.

Ah, chicken and dumplings is a family favorite. I need to make some next week after we get back from our camping trip. It’s a perfect meal for this cool weather.
My mom made the best chicken and dumplings I’ve ever tasted. I really miss her’s. I used to go camping all the time growing up with my family and with the Girl Scouts. Then my mom and dad bought a cabin on a lake and I loved going there. I miss it.

I love most Crock Pot meals. I’ve tried to make dumplings gluten free and have had some success but they aren’t cost effective. Lots of specialty flours needed.
It’s feeling like fall here but not due to the weather. All we notice is a change in the quality of light. I feel that now. It’s making me want to cook all the fall comfort foods though.
I’ve been using Crock Pots since ’75. I LOVE them! I’m glad the quality of light is better where you live!

Did the dumplings turn out as “light and fluffy” as the recipe claims. A lot of restaurants here in Arkansas have chicken & dumplings on the menu but the little dumplings are more like chewy noodle blobs. Yuck!
What fun stuff did you get from Pampered Chef? I’m trying to talk myself into spending $19.99 to get pink silicone oven mits from Amazon that I saw mentioned on Cupcakes & Cashmere blog.

No, the dumplings didn’t turn out light and fluffy, but they were still ok. My mom made the best chicken and dumplings I’ve ever had so nothing lives up to them 🙁
Pampered Chef is very expensive but their items last forever. I bought a pizza stone, Mini Serving Spatula, Soft Pretzel-Making Set, Mix ‘N Chop, and a Brown Sugar Keeper Set.
I live with my son and we both have a huge addiction to Amazon.
