  1. Congratulations on the new member of your family!

    be well… mae at

  2. What a cute baby! One of my favorite spice mixes is Tones Asian Grill and Stirfry mix. I’ll have to look for the Japanese one.

  3. We spent several months last fall painting our house. My husband and I love each other, but we don’t always work well together, so it was a bit of a strain. Glad we’re not trying to do this now, with all the other things going on.

You always have some great meals planned. One of these days I need to look into an Instant Pot. I hear lots about it.

Look at that Baby Jensen. Adorable!

    • We’re having a family owned company paint our house. They’re used to being outside in the hear and humidity all day.

      I love my Instant Pots.

      Thanks, I think she’s adorable too 🙂

  4. Your great grandaughter is a cutie, a very nice photo of her.

  5. Love Jensen. What a darling. And what a busy, reading, watching week. So the weather is still humid in Florida? Ugh that is worse than just hot. Stay cool. My Sunday Salon post

  6. Jensen is precious! What a sweet picture! I’ve never tried 7 Spice so now I’m curious. I’ll have to pick up some next time I’m at the grocery store.

  7. Your great granddaughter — how cute. Funny, I made IP chili this week too. It’s the season!

  8. What a sweet, sweet baby picture! Jensen is just precious!

  9. Jensen is a cutie!
We just gave my hubby a Dash Cam for Father’s Day, and the rear camera has been unexpectedly helpful for parking and reversing lol.

Wishing you a great reading week

    • Thanks Shelleyrae, we think she’s a cutie too 🙂

I love a rear camera! My car is very tiny and I’m very short so it comes in very handy when I’m backing out of a parking spot. I wish I’d have gotten one years ago.

  10. Oh my, Jensen is adorable! How fun to have a little baby around during this time. It has been many years since I read and watched Fried Green Tomatoes, but now that you’ve mentioned it, I am having flashbacks.

  11. Jensen is such a doll. Look at her sweet face.

That chicken and gravy dish looks so easy. I remember this turkey and gravy lunch that my high school used to have. When it was on the menu, kids would run from class to get to it as they would run out. That recipe reminds me of it.

  12. Two months old already!

Hope they can finish the paint job!

    • Time seems to be dragging this year due to covid, but on the other hand it’s going by fast when I think about Jensen being 2 months old already!

It rained again today so no painting 🙁

  13. Jensen is a little sweetie!!
We are decluttering how house and we are finding all sorts of photographs of our son and nieces when they were little. They are like little treasure finds.

  14. The Japanese 7 Spice is something I will look for!

  15. What a darling baby!

I need to get my Instant Pot out and start using it again.

  16. We are painting the inside of my house just now, I’ll be glad when it’s done!

    Jensen is adorable!

  17. Great post! I had a hankering to check in on my blogger pals to see how they are doing and if they are still around. Happy to see that you are. Inspiring!
