Teaser Tuesday Time

Finding Home by Corinne Joy Brown

FIRST CHAPTER: Dawn broke over the flatlands of Rock Springs, Wyoming, clear and cool, faint wisps of early morning clouds dissolving into the sun. My flaxen-maned mother, knowing she was approaching her time, left the herd by herself and lay down in a  sandy, sheltered draw. It didn’t take very long before I came along.

TEASER: “Then what happened?” asked Chaco, his eyes wide, his long ears erect to catch every single word and swiveling in anticipation. “This is the best story I’ve ever heard! Please tell me more!”

Finding Home by Corinne Joy Brown”

  1. An unusual piece of cover art, kind of old fashion looking. The intro makes me curious, hadn’t heard of this one so, hope you are enjoying it.

  2. When I look at the cover, I think Western…and cowboys. I gather that the story brings in older characters, too. Thanks for sharing, and here’s mine: “HIS & HERS”

  3. Nice cover. Sounds like a good book.

  4. I don’t like reading books featuring animals as they always make me cry. Check out the book we are featuring at Girl Who Reads

    • Me too Donna, but I can’t help stop myself from reading books that have animals in them and watching FB videos about animals. I just make sure I have some tissues beside me.

  5. Sounds like it could be a page turner.

  6. My son is in Wyoming right now, so I am interested. Thank you for sharing these snippets, Vicki!
