Honey BBQ Wings, Fries, Cole Slaw
Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Chicken & Veggies

Today’s To Do List…
I work in the morning and then maybe take a ride, I’m starting to go a little stir crazy

Looking forward to…
All my favorite tv shows starting again

A Favorite Bible Verse…
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

My youngest grandson and I on our cruise to Mexico

  1. I’v had to cancel a few cruises and have never been on one. One of these days maybe. Happy reading!

    • I love the water (beach, lake, creek, etc.) so I LOVED the cruise! I love wondering around the different towns in Mexico also!

We had a trip planned to Ohio in the fall but it looks like we won’t get to go now 🙁

  2. Going by the size of that drink and burger, you must of been thirsty.and hungry. 🙂

  3. I think I join you in the “going a little stir crazy” category. Love the pic of you and your grandson.

  4. That cruise photo looks great! I wonder if the cruise lines will survive this mess we’re in.

    • I’m hoping so, if not my grandson will be heartbroken. He wants to be a cruise ship captain when he grows up. (And he said I can go on every cruise for free! ❤️)

  5. I think there’s a sequel to Westworld, if it is the Westworld from long ago you saw. Once science fiction was my favorite genre for books and movies. I saw everything that was made in that genre.

Do you think instapots will be as common and necessary as microwave ovens? I haven’t gotten one, but I’m curious about them.

Love the photo of you and your grandson! I’ve never been on a cruise, and it looks like I may never get the opportunity to go on one. I would love to have the water all around me, and I’d love to explore Mexico.

    • My friend said not to waste my time on the sequel, she and her husband didn’t like it at all.

There are dozens of Instant Pot groups on FB and a lot of blogs dedicated to them, so yes, I think they are right up there with microwaves. Almost everyone I know has one but very few people I know have a microwave.

Mexico was AWESOME!! I loved every city we went to and I was mesmerized by the colors of the ocean. I couldn’t stop staring at it!

  6. Amen to your Bible verse! Lovely pic of you on your cruise. We wanted to go on a cruise this year, but I don’t see it happening at all. We are from South Africa.

Hi to your rescue kitties! My little Elza is also a rescue.

We’ve watched Westworld, still need to finish it though. It is quite good!

Hope you will have a good week. Here’s my The Sunday Post

    • I had plans to go to Ohio to see family in the fall but I don’t see it happening either 🙁

All the animals are rescues, I have 2 cats and a dog. My rescue I had for 18 years died in 2015 🙁

  7. Add me to the stir crazy crowd. Thank goodness for loving books! Fun pic 🙂

    • I don’t have to work next weekend which doesn’t happen very often, so I want to go to the beach even if there are so many people that I won’t feel comfortable getting out. I just want to see it and hear it and smell it!

  8. First I was up in the air about whether I really wanted to buy an air fryer. Then after reading how much so many people loved theirs, I decided to get one. No I am up in the air about what kind to get. I am vegan so not sure what would be best. Love your coleslaw recipe and the photo on the chairs on the cruise. Have a good week!

    • I have an oven type and a basket type. I love both. I did a lot of searching for information before I bought either one. I belong to some Air Fryer groups on FB and they helped me a lot and have tons of recipes for both.

  9. My son recently acquired this airfryer slow cooker combo thing and he loves it. They make meals in it all the time.
Love that cruise photo, I know you all had a great time.

    • I already had 3 Instant Pots which have a slow cooker option and a slow cooker so I didn’t think I needed another one so I bought the air fryer oven which also has a bake, dehydrate, roast, rotisserie etc. Then I had to have the basket type.

Why yes, I do have a small kitchen appliance problem!

      We had an amazing time!!!

  10. A cruise to Mexico? Now? Or was this in the past? We can’t seem to get a handle on the virus pandemic. I barely feel safe going to the store for groceries. Take care. Please join me for some good news of the week

  11. Taco spaghetti sounds good!

  12. Vicki, the photo with your grandson is terrific! I am intrigued by the Ninja Air Fryer. Have a great week ahead!

  13. Ah, our favorite TV shows. When do we think they will start up again? It will be interesting to see what the networks do soon with no new shows to broadcast.

    • I’ve mostly been watching older movies I meant to watch but didn’t, and lots of HGTV home buying/repair shows. I’m hoping all my favorites come back on but you never know.

  14. That taco spaghetti looks really good. I have assigned my husband one meal a week to cook because I am tired of doing it. That would be a good one for him if we used gluten free pasta.

That cruise pic is epic. Those chairs! Love.

    • I like quick and easy cooking. I’m not a big fan of cooking anymore, I’ve been cooking for many many years. I liked the chairs too but my feet didn’t even touch the ground!
