A Favorite Bible Verse…
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
Ephesians 4:31-32

I can touch my tongue to my nose, can you?

  1. Is the Enchilada casserole a favorite recipe? I want to try it! I hope you get to meet the baby soon!!

    • This will be the first time making the Enchilada casserole. It looks very good so I’m hoping we love it! Thanks about the baby. She was due the 4th so we’re all excited to finally meet her!

  2. Good luck with the new great-grand! Hope all goes well with the birth! Glad you were able to get your hair done. I’m amazed how much happier I am when my hair is normal. Ha!

  3. Thank you for checking in on me. I have just lost my blogging mojo and I am going to work on getting it back. Hope all is well with you. A new grandbaby?? YAY

    • Glad to know you’re ok! I’ve come close to losing my blogging mojo many times over the last few months 🙁

Everything is ok here. It’s my great grandbaby, my grandson’s baby 🙂

  4. How exciting about the grandbaby! I wish you all the very best. Take care and stay safe.

  5. What good news to hear the great grand is going to be arriving soon. I know you are very happy and excited. Hope all goes well, take care and stay safe.

  6. How exciting that the new baby will soon arrive. Glad you were able to get your hair cut safely.

    • I’m SO glad I was able to get my hair cut. It’s probably only the 5th time I’ve ever gotten it cut, but as I got older I wanted it shorter.

  7. I read about a hair salon in Missouri where the stylists and clients had to wear masks. Two of the stylists found out they were positive for the novel-virus after cutting hair for 9 days after reopening. They tested the clients and NO ONE got it. Masks work!

    • I don’t know why so many people are rebelling about wearing a mask. I wear one 6 months out of the year because I don’t take the flu shot, it’s never bothered me.

  8. Happy Sunday, Vicki! Orange-spiced chicken sounds so good! I am excited for you about the baby’s arrival. That pic of Kaiyo is too cute! Have a terrific week ahead.

  9. Haha, cute tongue pic. I hope the baby gets here quickly and safely. Have a good week!

  10. That baby is certainly taking their time! I hope he/she arrives safely very soon!

Wishing you a great reading week

  11. That sweet baby will be here this week. I am happy for you!

You have some great meals lined up. Orange spice chicken sounds good. Orange spice anything sounds good.

I felt so good when I got my hair cut. My poor sister-in-law came over to our house and sweated out most of the fluids in her body while she cut our hair on our front porch, all of us masked. I go out in the backyard every other day and trim a little so that she won’t have to do that again.

Love the Bible verse this week. I need to write that down and put it on my heart.

  12. Still no great grandbaby? Hope all goes well today… look forward to hearing your happy news! The recipes look delicious! I’ve saved the one for the chicken and beef stew. I’ve been searching for years for a really good beef stew recipe!

  13. Exciting about the new baby! I made enchiladas last week too! I’ve marked the beef stew to try .. I have stew meat in the freezer to use up!

  14. That enchilada casserole looks great. I love kraut too… but my family does not so the kraut meal would not go over well. It was 107 over the weekend and honestly, nothing sounds good when it’s that hot. My youth group had a picnic but no appetites to be had that hot day.

Still no baby? Wow. My son was almost three weeks late when I had him and I was getting all kooky and paranoid and he still had to be induced.

    • My son doesn’t like kraut either so he doesn’t eat it which is ok with me, I love it!

My oldest son (grandpa to the baby) was 5 weeks late and my youngest son was 4 weeks late. My daughter was born on the due date!

  15. LOVE that movie Yesterday! Did you watch it already? Maybe I can talk Doug into watching it again tonight.
I was about to email you and ask about the baby update, you all must be so excited.

I need to get my slow cooker working again to keep the kitchen from heating up. Sweet photo of Kaiyo.

    • I watched part of it and got interrupted, so I’ll be finishing it tonight. It doesn’t bother me to cook even with the oven in the summer, we keep our a/c pretty low.

  16. Thanks for visiting my blog! I’ve always wanted to take part in the Sunday Salon, but I’m always scrambling to post my Weekend Cooking ones on Sunday instead of having them all ready to publish on Friday or Saturday. Your air fryer tenderloin looks amazing, but our kitchen is too small for another gadget, says hubby, when I suggested getting an air fryer.

    • I love small kitchen appliances. I’m running out of room for them too but I know I’ll keep buying them. Might build a pantry or get a storage cabinet.

  17. Oh how exciting, a great grandbaby coming!! I’m excited for you. I love your verse. This country needs to take that to heart right now.

    • Thanks Alan, still no baby but she is starting to have harder/longer contraction so hopefully we will soon. I agree with you about the verse!

  18. Still no grandbaby? I’ll bet she is looking forward to the birth 🙂 Our county just had hair salons shut down as of yesterday.

  19. How exciting to welcome a little one to the family. Hope the mom and baby are doing great and best wishes for all the family! I haven’t had my haircut in forever so I’m basically in a ponytail all the time as it’s so hot.

  20. I have super fine hair and just a basic, shoulder-length-ish bob shape so I always just chop my hair off myself with two snips of the scissors. LOL It’s about time to do that again as it’s starting to bug me.

    How was the enchilada casserole?
