New To Me Stuff:
I’ve only eaten at Chick-fil-A few times because there isn’t one in the town I live in, but yesterday my son was driving by one and brought me a grilled chicken sandwhich and some waffle fries. I’ve always had the Polynesian Sauce on my fries but he also brought me 2 packs of the Chick-fil-A Sauce, and I LOVED it! Which sauce is your favorite?

A Favorite Bible Verse…
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
—Galatians 6:7
From the camera…
I always see things in things
In this photo I see the bottom half of a face,
an upturned hand, a dolphin, the head of a pony
Do you see anything?
I’ve only gone to Chick-fil-A once. I remember liking it but I don’t remember what sauce we used. We’re going to have to go back there 🙂
Hope you have a great week!
I hope you have a great week too Yvonne!
I see an arrowhead (the patch of blue that points left above the dark cloud)–takes me back to all those archaeology classes–LOL!
Cut and Run sounds like a ‘page-turner’ or whatever you would call that in audiobook format!
It’s funny how different people see different things.Cut And Run is definitely a page-turner! I call book that no matter what format it is 🙂
My grown kids and grandkids love Chick-fil-A. I’ve never eaten there because I’m vegan. Zoo Story is on my list to read. I looked at the cloud and it is amazing how much you can see in it. Thanks for commenting on my blog. I intended to link the recipes to the food I shared, but forgot. I now fixed it after your comment regarding the chickpea salad.. Again, much appreciated. Have a good week.
I’ll go check out the link to the recipe. Thanks for adding it!
I don’t mind a chicken sandwich from Chick Filet every now and then. I haven’t tried their sauces. Your kitchen sounds yummy.
I like the chicken sandwich from Popeyes the best if they make it fresh while you wait. It’s so crispy and yummy. If it’s been sitting it’s just a soggy mess and I don’t want it.
You had some fabulous meals. I never thought of putting black-eyed peas with sausage, but it sounds perfect together.
We just got a Chick Filet in our town. I haven’t tried it yet, but people in my town are so happy that it is there and I’ve heard great things.
I don’t see any of that in the cloud. I see a group of whales guided by a mermaid.
I looked again and see a dog, but don’t see what you saw 🙁
Love the scripture you shared today. Thought-provoking, for sure. It’s been a hard week but there is a lot of cause for hope for the future. Stay well. Stay safe. Please visit my Sunday Salon post. Thank you.
I love the scripture too. Perfect for what’s going on right now. I hope you stay well and safe too!
I see part of a face with a long nose.
The more I look the more I see!
I see the hand!
I usually get the Cobb salad from CFA, with garden ranch (herb?) dressing. But I also like the sandwich with the CFA sauce.
Fun post – I always like seeing what you’re planning in the kitchen 🙂
I’ve never tried their salads, I think I will next time since I do love salads.
I made a request at my library for a loan of The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes. I’m now off to read your review. Enjoy your reading week!
I hope you love it as much as I did!
I’ve marked those chimicangas to try. I love looking for shapes in the clouds.
I’m going to make them tomorrow, they sound really good!
Chick Fil-A is so popular here in the Tallahassee area. The lines wrap around for people ordering so we don’t get there too much. They certainly do a nice sandwich though, salads are good too.
Love the chimichanga recipe and I am glad you are particiapting in Food ‘n Flix. Me too!
I used to participate a lot in F’nF, but haven’t in a very long time. I’m excited to join again!
When I go to Chik Fil A I have to get the gluten free bun and it’s just ok. My kids love it.
I didn’t know they had a gluten free bun.
Vicki, I love the cloudy sky photo! Hmm… I see a dolphin.
The Chick-fil-A sauce is really good. I’ve never tried the Polynesian sauce. I like their food. Enjoy your week ahead!
I looked for your dolphin but I don’t see it 🙁
I hope you have a great week!
As a vegetarian, I have never been to a Chik-fil-a. Actually, I don’t go to any fast food places, which is kinda nice. 🙂
