Watching…
I’m hooked on HGTV. Have been for many many years. I have about 10 shows in my watchlist but there are so many newer shows that I’ve never seen.. So, I’ll be adding quite a few to my list. Have you ever seen One Of A Kind, House In A Hurry, Boise Boys, Move And Improve, Love It And List It Too, Flip Side? There are a lot more that I haven’t seen so I’ll be watching a few episodes of each to see if I want to add them to my list. I may end up deleting some of the older shows.

Weekly Steps…
My steps have been down for a week or so. I need to work on bringing them back up

  1. Never heard of Bob Evans Homestead. I wonder what kind of soup it is?
Have a nice day and stay safe!

    • The homestead is where Bob Evans farm was. He lived there and that’s where his first restaurant was opened. It’s like in a western movie where they say “the old homestead”. That was Bob’s homestead.

  2. I’ve never watched HGTV. We got rid of cable some time ago, so we are mostly watching Amazon Prime and Netflix right now. Maybe there are some shows from HGTV on AP or N.

I haven’t done much exercising since the Y closed. The Y sent a series of at-home videos but I’ve never been good at doing those (part of the reason I joined the Y!) I will make myself do them this week. The yoga video should be relaxing.

Wonderful Bible verse. “In everything give thanks…”

  3. I used to watch HGTV every night after work. I haven’t seen it lately, but I’m thinking of resuming that practice. I do love home decorating and remodeling!

Enjoy your week, and stay safe.

  4. We don’t watch much TV so don’t watch HGTV. We’ve watched more here lately and may add that to our list.

I’m ready for things to return to normal, too. I miss seeing my friends and family – just texting or calling isn’t enough for me.

  5. I wish we had access to HGVT and the Food Network here, I watch a lot of shows from both that show up on streaming services or our free network channels and when I’m stressed home Reno and cooking shows are comforting.

Wishing you a great reading week, be well!

  6. I love HGTV too but we don’t have cable. We watch it when we go on vacation in the hote. Love it or List It is a favorite!

Have a healthy week and enjoy some great books.

  7. I used to watch HGTV more, but now I’m hooked in the Food Network!

  8. I’ve been binge watching Top Chef on Hulu – from the first season. I’ve never watched it before so this seemed like the right time to start. Books help a lot too. My goal is to get a walk early each morning. I hope you have a good week, Vicki!

  9. I was addicted to HGTV when the Tornado was a baby but haven’t watched it regularly since. I really need to get back to it. There’s one show (Hometown something maybe?) that takes place in Laurel, MS which I had to drive through to go to my grandparents’ house. I always disliked that town so it’s been fun to see it portrayed in a positive light. Have a great week!

    • I LOVE Hometown!! I love the relationship between Ben and Erin. I love Chip and Joanna Gaines too! They have a new show coming out this year called Home on the Road and I want to watch it but don’t know if I will be able to get it on Apple TV or ROKU.

  10. I don’t think life is going to get back to normal for a very long time, I’m sad to say. I think it’s going to be much longer than people are thinking as well. I hope you enjoy your reading!

    • If some people don’t start taking it more serious it may be a very long time before things are back to normal. I don’t understand how anyone could not take it seriously.

  11. Your food sounds yummy. I’m on a diet, so I’m craving EVERYTHING. I hope you have a good week!

    • I think the more we think about not eating food, the more we eat food. At least that is true with me. I hope you have a good week to Aj!

  12. No cable here. We haven’t had it since 2003. My weekly update

  13. My friends were talking about some house cleaning YouTubes that were ‘inspiring.’ I keep meaning to ask them for titles. LOL Lots of time to clean, right? Checking out your meatloaf recipe – thanks for sharing 🙂 Take care of you and yours!

    • I used to clean houses for a living so I don’t need to watch those videos 🙂 I’ve always kept my house clean but now it’s ultra clean because of this nasty virus.

Thanks! I pray you and your family stay safe too!

  14. All of your recipes looks delish. All comforting. I wasn’t able to shop by a list really because so many of the shelves are empty here. I end up buying what’s there and then trying to make meals out of it. It’s dicey. Right now we are doing half cooked meals and have takeout while we can.

  15. I haven’t been to the store lately because my son stopped and got what I needed a week or so ago so I wouldn’t have to go out. My family and I are taking this virus very seriously. I wish everyone was 🙁
