  1. I’d have a really hard time in that heat. Hope it feels cooler soon. Cool photo!

  2. I thought it was a hand at first holding a writing instrument. 🙂

  3. Happy Sunday! I love the Chicago shows too. Med is my favorite but I do enjoy the others as well. Have a great week!

  4. Vicki, your photo is quite unique. I haven’t watched any of the Chicago shows you mention. Your meal selections always make me hungry. It’s warm here, too. I’m hoping for cooler temps soon. Enjoy your time with your daughter next week!

  5. I really enjoyed the book your reading in print and the one your listening to. That is some mushroom!

    • I’m starting the third book in the series tomorrow, and starting Marilla too. That mushroom is the weirdest one I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen some weird ones.

  6. I’m grateful that our temperatures finally dropped. I was sick of the heat. What a mushroom!

  7. Will look forward to your review of Evvie Drake Starts Over… it’s on my wish list!

  8. That’s a beautiful picture. Have a good week!

  9. You have had some good reading. I enjoyed Evvie Drake and Marilla, and I want very much to read the new Kate DiCamillo books. I would say that I have loved every character Kate DiCamillo has ever created.

It’s still hot here, too. A cool front came in last night and dropped the temps down into the mid 60s. Most people wouldn’t even consider that a cool front. Here’s to cooler temps for both of us soon.

    Fascinating photo.

I hope you have a great week!

    • I just started Marilla, but I’m pretty sure I’ll love it. Kate DiCamillo is a very good author. Her books always keep me interested from beginning to end. I hope you have a great week too Deb!

  10. I haven’t seen the shows you mentioned but since you did mention a cop show, The Rookie with Nathan Fillon was good. We just watched the first season.
    What a cool mushroom!

Hope your day trip with your daughter was a good one.

    • The Rookie is in my list too. It’s very good!
That mushroom was weird looking for sure.
Haven’t gone on my day trip with daughter yet, going Friday.
