  1. Having a whole weekend off would be a treat! Enjoy yours next weekend.

  2. We got back to FL just in time to enjoy the cooler weather… it was cold, rainy, and threatening to snow when we left NY. Kayaking is fun. Give it a try!

  3. I just took a look at Attack of the Cute. So CUTE! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, Vicki!

  4. I like these posts when you share random/yet planned thoughts, plus a favorite scripture. It’s a sweet sharing of yourself.

  5. Very nice, Vicki. I can imagine you are much appreciated by your family. And I see you were up this way recently, visiting Silver Springs. It ain’t what it used to be, but we’ve come to enjoy what there remains. And it’s much cheaper than it used to be, so there’s that. Re your comment on the French bike: The French are rather proud of their “skinny” bodies, so perhaps that why their bike has skinny tires? Oui?

    • You’re right, it’s not like it used to be, but it’s still a nice way to spend a day and it’s not far from where I live. I like the skinny tires myself, I have two bikes and and their tires are skinny, but not quite as skinny as the bike you posted.

  6. I’m hoping my library will have the audio of Sally Field’s book. It looks good.

  7. A beautiful image, Vicki.

  8. I got to kayak for the first time when I took the high schoolers to summer camp. I had thrown my back out putting my darn luggage on the bus so when they dragged me onto the water I panicked, not knowing if I could even do it. My back was seriously killing me but once I got on the kayak and out on the water it was bliss. Getting off the kayak was another thing. Do it! It’s so much fun.
