He’d never seen his father so angry, and that was saying a lot, because he’d seen him plenty mad the last few years. Tia really was to blame, not that it mattered. He should have known not to listen to her.

Afer their parents left the house that Saturday, she lured Logan out of his bedroom with the promise of marshmallows.

  1. I love that cover, and now I’m curious. Thanks for hosting…and sharing.

  2. This is a new book and author for me, but I like that short intro. It makes me wonder about all the various family dynamics involved here. What’s going to happen next?

  3. This sounds as though it is one I would like – thanks for sharing!

  4. Thanks for hosting! I love marshmallows too! 😉 lol

  5. Hmm. I wonder what happens.

  6. This is both a new author and title to me. It does sound like it might be sad…

  7. Hmm,the cover makes me think it is a non fiction title but, the intro seems fiction based? Curious I’d read a bit more.

BTW – I cleared my cache this week and was able to post my link trouble free:)

  8. Intriguing intro.

  9. I like that cover too. And I’m trying to think – I might have read a book by this author or maybe I’ve just seen it. Will investigate.

  10. Between the cover and the intro, I’d definitely keep reading. Thanks for hosting and sharing an author I’m unfamiliar with.

  11. The cover is appealing, and the intro draws me in, Vicki.

  12. Cover is appealing but opening.lines do not grab me.

  13. But it’s so good 🙂

  14. Oh my heart is already breaking a bit for the boy just off the first paragraph.

  15. It is good intro….
