I saw Bear Town on another list. It sounds like I need to get to it soon.
I loved it Kathy! I hope you decide to read it.
Vicki, thank you for this list. I haven’t read any of your selections! However, I did watchthe movie, A Man Called Ove.
I saw the movie too and liked it a lot, but the book was so much better!
They did send the movie A man called Ove the other day, but I did not watch it. I forgot about it. 🙂
You missed a good movie, but the book was better.
Some good reads on the list. I will have to check it out. Thanks, Vicki!
You’re welcome!
Ove is also on my list for one if the great books from 2017. I haven’t seen the movie yet. You have a few I still want to get to.
I always like reading the book first, it’s usually a lot better!
I read and enjoyed Ove, Prayers for Sale and Bear Town. Great list!
Thanks Mary!
I have A Man Called Ove, Arthur Pepper, and Lillian Boxfish all on my audio list for this year so I’m excited to see them on your list!
I hope you love them as much as I did!
I loved Beartown and Miss Millie too.
I knew I’d love Beartown because I love Backman, but I’d never read Bundy and was surprised at how much I loved her book. I wish she’d write another one. I’d definitely read it.
I haven’t read any of these, but they do sound good.
They were so good that it was really easy to write this list.
Loved a Man Called Ove!
I did too! Everything by that author is good!
It looks like I’m far behind with books… None of them I’ve read 🙁
They are all really good.
I haven’t read or listened to any of these. A couple are on my t-read list though.
Can’t wait to see which ones and read your reviews.
Ove made made my list last year too and now I need to work on his other books!
I still have a few of his to read too.
