Thankful…
That I got to spend time with my youngest son, daughter, son in law, and two youngest grandsons on Thanksgiving. It’s been a few years since that happened. And that I got to spend yesterday with two sons, daughter in law, and oldest granddaughter yesterday for a cookout and games. Oldest grandson had to work 🙁   I love my family!

  1. I’m so glad you got to spend time with your family! If we lived closer, we could walk together.

  2. My grandmother used to make baked beans and I loved them. We used to have brown bread with them too, yummy.

  3. Maybe you can share recipe for baked beans? Never eaten them like that. How to prepare them? Does it have to be any special bean species? Do you use spices?

  4. Sounds like you had nice family get togethers. I’m behind on This is Us episodes – need to start watching my DVR’d shows!

  5. I loved your sharing this week! I loved This Is Us last season. This season is dragging for me! Loved the quote! Luke is one of my favorite books! Hope you are having a great week!

    • This season is starting off slower but I did enjoy learning more about the kids. Hopefully the first few episodes were leading up to something bigger.

  6. I loved all your thoughts from that Sunday, I would like to do something similar, I think there are things that we have missed in our life, that really have relevance. This Sunday I saw the movie Live by Night in the company of my family and I think it is a very valuable moment that we sometimes let go or do not think is special. Thank you for sharing a fragment of your life with us.
