Sunday Reflections

The sun is shinning, it’s 71° and cloudy, it’a a beautiful day!

I’m behind on a few book reviews and I need to get caught up

For my new iphone, my old started freezing and shutting off and was a big pain

Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. I read it in school and wanted to read it again since I don’t remember it

Listening To…
Murder On The Orient Express by Agatha Christie. My daughter and I almost went to see it last week I wanted to read/listen to the book first so went looking for diy craft ideas instead.

Today I’ll watch Planes, Trains and Automobiles (for Food N’ Flix). I looked for it on Redbox but couldn’t find it,  DirecTV had it but it was $4 and I figured if I had to pay for it I might as well buy a copy. It was a lot more, but at least I can re-watch it whenever I want

A list of sites on journaling

To live each day without regret

Worry is worthless

I can’t find my 2 favorite dvd’s, one is a whole body workout and the other is strength training. I have no idea where they are since all my other dvd’s are where they should be 🙁

In The Kitchen…
Tonight I’m making baked pork chops, baked potato, broccoli & cinnamon applesauce

Today’s To-Do List…
Mostly relaxing

One of my favorite things:
My Mercy Me cd, I Can Only Imagine makes me cry every time I hear it

  1. I love the Mason Jar utensil holder. The picture of the fire burning is scary! I love how you do your Sunday Reflections!! Happy Sunday!!

  2. It’s beautiful here too. I love the utensil holder too – let us know how it comes out.

  3. I’m watching the snow fall today, and counting the days until we are in Florida. Happy Thanksgiving!

  4. Sounds like a lovely weekend.

    • I worked a few hours in the early morning yesterday and today, but the rest of the day was free. I finally got Planes, Trains and Automobiles watched. It was pretty funny except for the cussing.

  5. Happy Sunday, Vicki! We had a beautiful day here today, too. I’ve been away but am back now, so I am catching up with my blog visits. The Mason jars project looks wonderful. Enjoy your mystery audio book. It sounds like it would be very engaging. Have a wonderful week. THANKSgiving is almost here. 🙂

  6. My iPhone did the same, just got a new 7 – what did you get?
Please share your list on journeling, I’m interested! Also, hope you find your DVDs.

    • I got the 8. My son wanted me to wait and get the X but I didn’t want to wait. I’ve had my phone for about a month now. As far as the journaling list, I just Googled “journaling ideas” and bookmarked a few of them. It will take me some time to go through them and make a list. I’ve looked everywhere for the dvd’s and just can’t find them. They’ve always been in my exercise room/library but they must have left home. Maybe they’ll show up when I’m packing the room to move.

  7. Don’t you hate it when things mysterious disappear? Must be house trolls! I too need to replace my iPhone, but I’m waiting until January if I can.

    • Like I said in my comment to Tina, my son wanted me to wait and get the iPhone X but I wanted a new phone right then, I’d put up with it long enough and I’d had it.

  8. 71 degrees! So nice temperature. We have 0 Celsius here, it’s getting colder and colder….

  9. Wow, Vicki — This post was a treat! I’ve just spent a ton of time searching those painted Ball jars. I want some. Michaels, here I come. I also love your Matthew 17:20. I wear my little mustard seed charm on my wrist often. Have a great week Vicki.

  10. We’re getting a little colder than I wanted but 71 sounds perfect! Cold enough to wear some fall clothes but not so cold that you’re freezing. Love the painted Ball jars! I think Murder on the Orient Express would be fantastic on audio! I’m on the fence about the movie but all the talk about it has made me want to reread the book!
