Sunday Reflections

Outside…
The sun is shinning, it’s 90°, feel like temp is 101° because of humidity, & low chance of rain

Thinking…
It’s a good day to mow the yard and wash the cars

Thankful…
For incense, especially lavender

Reading…
I have    waiting for me at the library but can’t pick it up until Tuesday

Listening To…
The Marsh King’s Daughter by Karen Dionne

Watching…
Playing House, this show is hilarious!

Hoping…
To decide on a date for our vacation soon

Learning…
That eating healthier can be very yummy

Fitness…
Stepz app helps me reach my step goal easier

In The Kitchen…
Not sure what we’ll eat today for supper

Today’s To-Do List…
Do some laundry and relax the rest of the day

One of my favorite things:
I found  a new favorite bread, Eureka. I buy the Grainiac. It’s full of seeds and 18 grains. I keep mine in the fridge but a lot of people keep it in the freezer. Makes great tasting toast and sandwiches

A website I’d like to share:
Hometalk, a DIY site

Looking forward to…
A surprise my son Anthony has planned for me on our vacation

A Favorite Bible Verse…
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Romans 8:18

A favorite quote…
“The first recipe for happiness is: avoid too lengthy meditation on the past.”
Andre Maurois

  1. That sounds too hot to mow the grass to me. I’m listening to The Marsh King’s Daughter too.

    • We usually do have to mow when it’s really too hot to be doing it. Unless of course we mow really early or really late. We mow with a riding lawn mower because we have about an acre. Our house we’re moving to is only a city lot and my grandson mows it with a push mower when he mows his lawn which is next door.

  2. That’s very hot. All I would want to do is stay inside with the a/c going and reading or watching TV. I did laundry today too. Hope you have a good week!

  3. It is too hot but after living in in Florida for over 30 years we are used to doing things outside when it’s so hot. I don’t think we’ll ever be used to the heat/humidity though.

  4. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I hope you have an amazing vacation!

  5. I love to eat healthy and yes, there are many yummy, healthy meals out there to be eaten.
