The other day I was hopping around on the internet when I came across these and decided to order them. They came in the mail yesterday. I haven’t used them yet, but will review them when I do.

Q-glove Silicone Oven Mitts Heat Resistant Glove

These will come in so handy for flipping food on a grill. No more dropping food when it slides of the metal spatula! They’re heat resistant up to 425 Degrees Fahrenheit!

Oksale 60 Second Salad Cutter Bowl

I love salad but sometimes having to cut everything up one thing at a time can be time consuming and not a lot of fun. I haven’t used this yet, but I plan to soon. Just throw everything in the bow and cut in the slots.

Have you used either of these? What do you think?

  1. I like the sound of both of these kitchen aids, especially the salad cutter bowl. I am eager to hear what you think of them, Vicki.

  2. I would certainly give that bowl a shot. Cheers from Carole’s Chatter

  3. I’d like to see a short video clip of you using that salad cutter bowl Vicki. Curious how it works.

    • I don’t do videos, but all you do is fill with lettuce, tomato, and whatever else you want in your salad, cover and slice in the slots.

  4. A friend of mine just sent me a picture of the salad cutter bowl and told me I need to get one. Please let us know how it works.

  5. I haven’t used either of these. I have seen the gloves used on a cooking show on our local news last week. I thought they looked pretty neat. I’m really curious about the salad bowl cutter. I hope you do a review!

  6. I think we used gloves like that for a Thanksgiving turkey made on the Weber Grill. I’m sure we’ve used them, and they work.

  7. I need those gloves! I have a pair of narrow fitting oven mits that look like they’re a similar material but I think the gloves would be even more useful. Sometimes I need to use my hands! I’m curious about the salad cutter bowl. I hope you post a review of it.

  8. I just saw someone using the salad cutter and I wondered the same thing- is this a useful tool? I’m looking forward to your thoughts.

  9. That salad cutter looks interesting–can’t wait to see how you like it. 😉

  10. Thanks for sharing your items. They both look very handy. I also love salad, but not so much preparing it.

  11. I have not used either but that salad bowl looks like a handy gadget.

  12. My brother-in-law has those gloves and loves them. I’m intrigued with the salad cutter, too, and can’t wait to hear what you think of it!

  13. Those gloves look awesome! Just think about getting a turkey out of a roasting pan. You could just pick it up! And silicone is so easy to wash.

That salad cutter also looks like it has potential. Will look forward to your review.
