  1. I came here for your Sun Stealing answers but I got distracted by your sidebar. You’re a much more ambitious reader than I am — I love books but I’m lucky if I get through one or two a month. Look at you, on the path to 50! And I love it that you are a rescuer. As I post this, I’m surrounded by Reynaldo and Connie, two little feline souls that I adopted.

  2. I love Chinese food, too, We don’t have many Chinese restaurants here in Tex-Mex country, but there are one or two we go to all the time.

I don’t really “save” texts either, but somehow I always seem to have gobs of them on my phone. I should really clean things up more often.

    Have a wonderful week!

  3. Fun to read these, Vicki! Enjoy the rest of the long weekend. 🙂

  4. I’d never heard the Mercy Me song–thanks for introducing it to me!

  5. This was fun! I go to the bathroom first thing every morning too – maybe it has to do with our age? With Caller ID does anyone always answer their phones these days?

  6. I love to sit down to a Chinese meal too. It’s fun to eat out of the carton, I’ve done that but going to the restaurant is always more fun.

I also believe in “it could be worse” but there was one day a couple weeks ago where I was on the pity train to nowhere. I don’t know what was wrong with me. I felt sooooo low. Like someone pulled my plug. I used to get that way when I had gluten by accident but it hasn’t happened in so long I didn’t know what it was. Next day, it was gone.

    • I have days like that too once in a while. Then I start to worry, wondering what’s causing me to feel like that, but it just goes away for me too. I’ve started thinking it’s all the bad in the world getting to me, especially when I check out FB. It’s really been depressing lately what with all the sad posts about people and animals. I keep telling myself to take a break from it.
