Sunday Reflections

It’s 73° right now, calm winds and a bit overcast. Later it’s supposed to get windy and there’s a 95% chance of rain

I wish our cat Jaspurr was more like Boots. Jaspurr is really hyper and Boots is laid back and calm

That my daughter and I finally made it back to Sweet Tomatoes, I love their food!

Starting this today: The Red Bandanna: A Life. A Choice. A Legacy. by Tom Rinaldi

Ingredients: The Local Food Movement Takes Root

The weather doesn’t get too bad today, the worst part is supposed to be while I’m at work and I don’t want to drive 1/2 hour in really rainy & windy weather

Website I Love…

Walking a lot, but still not doing so good with the food side

In The Kitchen…
Eating out today

Today’s To-Do List…
Not much, I have to go to work at 5

One of my favorite things:
Taco Bell’s Fiesta Taco Salad

Pin It & Do It…
Wall Key Holder

Looking forward to…
A day trip with my daughter to Mount Dora

A Favorite Bible Verse…
The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
Nahum 1:7

A favorite quote…
“There is only one way to happiness and that is to cease worrying about things which are beyond the power of our will.”

From the camera….

  1. Just watched the trailer for Ingredients: The Local Food Movement Takes Root… looks like a good one!

  2. My son and I volunteer at a community garden in a nearby city and we love it! I was just reading the application to become a member right before I read your blog post. Lol. Do you believe in signs?

    Thank you for sharing this

  3. Well now you have me curious for Ingredients! I’m struggling a bit with the food portion of being healthier. I do great on the exercise but I have such a sweet tooth and I love to bake which is not a good combination! Hope the weather doesn’t get to bad and have a great week!

  4. It’s supposed to rain here too. We need the rain but I hope we don’t get any of the winds other parts of the south have gotten.
