45°.  Brrrrr

The older I get the less I can stand the cold and heat

For all the Blessings in my life

Reading & listening to Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates
Listening to Wildflower by Drew Barrymore

Christmas movies, first year I’ve gotten so much into them

Nothing right now

to get moved within the next month, no more delays please and thank you

I don’t have a bunch of patience

doing great exercise wise, could be eating a bit better

In The Kitchen…
field peas & snaps with sliced tomatoes and cornbread

Today’s To-Do List…
watch movies, read, laundry

One of my favorite things:
Coffee-mate Vanilla Caramel Sugar Free,  So So So good!

Pin It & Do It…
Broccoli Cheese Soup

Looking forward to…
Thanksgiving/my birthday

A Favorite Bible Verse…
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalms 118:24

A favorite quote…
“If you are too busy to laugh, you are too busy.”

From the camera….

  1. It’s cold here this morning too and I am not a fan! I’d been doing great with healthy eating and then I went to the beach with my mom and sister. I think I’ll just wait until Thanksgiving is over to worry about getting back into that habit.

  2. I have a lower tolerance for cold and snow these days, but have never done especially well with heat. It’s blustery, cold, and snowing here today… looking at a foot of snow by the time it ends tomorrow. I’m ready for FL, even if it’s cool there, too!

  3. I love how you do this! We are at 49* here just before noon. I’m thinking winter is finally just around the corner! I don’t have a lot of patience either. I thought it would get better as I aged, but not happening! Happy Thanksgiving.

  4. Happy Sunday, Vicki! That is the most wonderful photo EVER!

  5. I like this post format. I am with you on the cold…brrr.
That is a very cute photo and I love the quote.
Have a wonderful week — Happy Birthday with your Happy Thanksgiving!
