Sunday Reflections

74° and I’m loving it. The last few days have been cool with a slight breeze

where to go for dinner

to have new brakes, pads, and rotors on my car

Still reading Inheriting Edith by Zoe Fishman

Still listening to Miracle at the Higher Grounds Cafe by Max Lucado

Code Black, it keeps getting better and better

The weather stays cool for a while

To say no

I want to start eating clean

In The Kitchen…
Nothing, we’re eating out tonight

Today’s To-Do List…
Not much, just unload and load the dishwasher and wash some clothes

One of my favorite things:
My George Foreman Grill, I use it all the time

Pin It & Do It…
Slow Cooker Crack Chicken

Looking forward to…
Getting a mani-pedi and my hair cut

A Favorite Bible Verse…
The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good
Proverbs 15:3

A favorite quote…
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”

From the camera….

  1. I’ve been loving this mild fall too. I head to the beach on Friday and, of course, it will cool off on Saturday.

  2. 74 degrees sounds like heaven (we’re in the 40s) and I’m counting the days until we head south! The crack chicken sounds delicious – just pinned it. Inheriting Edith sounds like a good read, and I like the cover, too. Will keep an eye out for your thoughts.

  3. Sounds like a nice week planned. Enjoy!

  4. Vicki, it sounds like you have had a peaceful Sunday! I have heard only good things about the George Forman Grill. I am happy for the time change today–more time to get things done! Have a wonderful week.

  5. It’s all relative: 70 degrees would be a tropical miracle here in Nova Scotia in November. 🙂
