Sunday Reflections

Outside…
73°, sunny, and the sky is blue with lots of fluffy white clouds. There’s a slight breeze, and it’s not as humid as it has been, which is a very good thing

Thinking…
Today would be a great day for a bike ride

Thankful…
That work on the dining room has begun. Then we clean, paint, and can move in!!

Reading…
Still reading Tomorrow There Will Be Apricots by Jessica Soffer which is the Oct./Nov. pick for Cook The Books. I’m also listening to the kindle audible version of Miracle at the Higher Grounds Cafe by Max Lucado

Watching…
Queen Sugar. Love this show!

Hoping…
We have a lot of cool days this winter so I can ride my bike a lot

Learning…
To let go of people that bring more drama than joy into my life

Fitness…
Getting a lot of steps and drinking at least 80 oz. of water each day. Wrist and hand still hurting. Trying to cut down on carbs and sodium

In The Kitchen…
Eating out today. Maybe Chinese. Maybe Italian.

Today’s To-Do List…
Catching up on some laundry and tv shows

One of my favorite things:
Snuggling with my doggy Kaiyo

Pin It & Do It…
Slow Cooker Crack Chicken. This looks/sounds really good. Going to give it a try this week.

Looking forward to…
Going on a day trip with my daughter Kilah. We haven’t done one in a while. Life’s been busy.

A Favorite Bible Verse…
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. PSALM 19:14

A favorite quote…
“If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything.”
― Mark Twain

From the camera….
The last few days have been kinda made me feel like I was in Twilight Zone. Really weird things have been happening and I asked my kids if it was a full moon. They didn’t know. Then last night I was outside after dark and yep, it is.
