The other day my daughter Kilah and I drove to a new shopping mall, I’ll post about that in a week or so. Anyway, while driving home, Kilah told me there was a store nearby that she’d never been to but would like to go. Well, of course I was curious so we checked it out. The store was The Fresh Market. It’s similar to Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods.
I really loved how they displayed everything, and the lightening really made it have a comfy feeling. I don’t remember seeing any fruits or veggies but Kilah does. I guess I was just engrossed with the all the different kinds of coffee they had, that I forgot to take a photo of. The meat section was amazing, and they had rows and rows of nuts, cheeses, wine. Here are a few photos I took:

What a great find! I bet it will inspire lots of great cooking.
I LOVE Fresh Market!! We have one across town but there’s one going in just down the road and I’m so excited I can barely stand it. We get one of their Yule Log Cakes every Christmas and they have these little cheddar tea rolls that I don’t allow myself to buy anymore because I will eat them all in one sitting.
My kind of store. Tell them if they open up in Hilo, I’ll be there all the time! Promise.
Oh my! Have a great week!
Cheers from Carole’s Chatter!
We live in a small working-class city, so not even a Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s here. This looks like the kind of store I would love to shop at, but it’s probably a good thing that there isn’t one nearby, because whenever I go to Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s I spend more than I plan to!
I would totally love having one of these stores nearby although it would probably tempt me way too much! 😉
We love Fresh Market – that’s where Carl buys all of his coffee.
Oh, and they do have a nice produce section.
That looks wonderful! The closest we come to that is the Farmer’s Market in the summer months. I’m green with envy.
Fresh Market is indeed a treat. We get some meats from them and they have great specials certain days of the week. The olive bar is a a favorite. Glad you had fun there.
Looks like a neat store!

I could probably spend hours in that store.
There’s a Fresh Market over in Ft. Myers that I go to in every once in a while… have to drive past at least a dozen Publix to get there, lol! I’m still a loyal Wegmans fan though. I miss them almost as much as I miss my family in New York 😉
The Fresh Market opened here about 18 months ago and I LOVE it. It is a bit of a drive, but worth it – especially for Tuesday specials.
