Thoughts
I saw this movie advertised on tv and knew it must be good because it was based on a Nicholas Sparks book. It looked good, but I didn’t recognize any of the actors so I didn’t know what to expect from their performance. Let me tell you, they were perfect for the parts, they were great.

The movie started out good and just got better and better. Benjamin and Gabby have such a great love story. I don’t want to give away too much, but I will say their relationship unfolds into a powerful love between them. The movie had some very funny moments and also some very sad moments. I had a very personal connection with the movie towards the end that was a bit overwhelming emotionally, but I got through it, and loved the ending.

I absolutely loved this movie. It was amazing, and is one of my top 3 movies ever. I need to find the dvd so I can watch it over and over.

I almost always read a book before seeing the movie, but this time I didn’t want to wait, so now I’ll have to find the book. The book is almost always much beter so I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy.

If you haven’t seen this movie, GO SEE IT! It will make you laugh and cry, and the fact that a lot of it takes place on the water is another plus for me.

I loved this movie!!!

  1. Vicki, I’m glad you enjoyed this movie so much. Thanks for sharing the clip. I have read many of this author’s books, including this one.

  2. I haven’t read the book but the movie sure looks/sounds gripping.

  3. I just watched my second Sparks movie and hated it so I was ready to write him off. Now you have me reconsidering…
