I’m doing the 30 Day Walkabout Challenge @ Sparkpeople during the month of April.

It not only gives you physical things to do like walking and strength training, it also has articles to read to help you get the most out of your walks.

Tuesday: I mile

Wednesday: 1 mile and strength training

Thursday:  1mile and read 5 Common Walking and Running Injuries for the challenge

Friday: 1 mile and 1 set of 10 repetitions of skater squats, forward lunges, calf raises, planks, supermans, pendulums, push ups, and tricep dips

Saturday: 1 mile and read A Guide to Walking Meditation

Sunday: supposed to be a rest day but I walked a mile and read Reference Guide to Exercise Intensity

Monday: 1 mile and 1 set of 10 repetitions of skater squats, forward lunges, calf raises, planks, supermans, pendulums, push ups, and tricep dips
