book blogger hop

This week’s question was submitted by Elizabeth@ Silver’s Reviews:
When you are out of town, do you still participate in weekly memes or do you have your post scheduled to appear on your blog and perhaps check back? Or do you not participate at all?

If I’m away from home, I don’t participate in memes, (you can’t link to the host’s site if you’re away from a computer), but I do schedule tour/review posts.

My question: What’s your favorite thing to eat for breakfast?

My answer: I love steal cut oats or yogurt with cinnamon, wheat germ, flax seed, nuts, seeds and fruit. Sometimes though, I want a scrambled egg and toast.

  1. I try to participate in my regular memes when I’m out of town but it can be hard. I love bacon and omelets for breakfast – not very healthy I know.

  2. Great and timely question as I sit here typing with a suitcase on the table. 🙂 I am leaving town today and I have just sent you an email about it…LOL

I used to try to keep up with all my blogging duties if I was home or away but this past year I have come to really enjoy what I am doing where ever I am and putting no pressure on me to do the extras on my list 🙂

As for breakfast – I love egg white omelets loaded with veggies – whatever I have in the frig: tomato, onion, squash, mushrooms….

  3. Yummy breakfast.

I pre-schedule as well but also stop in to comment if I can.

    Happy Hopping!!

  5. LOL that’s so true! You can not link up when you’re away from home. And I schedule tours and other posts for books too!

  6. Your breakfast choice has made me hungry. Thanks for stopping by!
