 Mailbox Monday

July Host is Tasha @ Book Obsessed

I didn’t have any books in my mailbox last week, but that’s a good think since I wanted to cut back on review/tour books this year. But I still can not seem to stop downloading and buying books…I’ve tried I tell ya!!

Books I bought from a Women’s Club Book Sale:
I only had about a 1/2 hr. to check out the books because we went to a car show that day. I was in a hurry and just skimmed through the books. These are the titles that grabbed my attention because I’ve been wanting to read them. I forgot I already had The Poisonwood Bible… I wanted to get some more books but ran out of time 🙁

I didn’t like Little Bee that much. Eat Move Sleep looks funny.

    ENJOY all your books.

  2. I love Anne Rivers Siddons…and haven’t read that one. Restoration looks tempting, too; love that cover.

  3. I loved The Secret Life of Bees and Little Bee. You’re in for some good reading!

  4. Well I do think you need to just sit and read, you got quite a lovely selection at your sale.

  5. I’ve been meaning to get to Sarah’s Key for a long time. Looking forward to your thoughts on this one.

  6. Hi Vicki,

You have so many great books this week that you aren’t going to be short of a good read for some time to come!

I have only recently joined NetGalley and that was only to download an author review copy … or so I thought. I tried to not look at the e-mails and recommendations I received from them … but the inevitable happened and I have now found another irresistible source of great FREE books …

    I really just don’t need any more … but I can’t resist … HELP!!

    Have a great week,

    Yvonne

PS. I received an email and I am not sure whether it was genuinely from yourself, or not!

If it was, no-one else is having a problem commenting on my ‘malibox’ post and the comment box is definitely there!

Hope to see you over at Fiction Books soon!

  7. You really scored at the book club sale! Enjoy all your new goodies.
