The Sunday Salon is on Facebook!
Somehow I managed to get behind on my reading and reviewing again. Imagine that!! So, I’ve read but not reviewed The One Dish Vegetarian by Maria Robbins, Debbie Mocomber’s Cedar Cove Cookbook and Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. I’m catching those reviews up this week.
Better about things in general. Not so much sickness in the family and new projects on the horizon
Survivor: Did you see Cochran rule that individual challenge on Wednesday? It was amazing!!
The Amazing Race: Who do I want to win? Well, it’s a toss up between Caroline & Jennifer and Chuck & Wynona.
Say You’re One Of Them by Uwem Akpan
Well, I’m not actually listening to it yet, but will start it tomorrow…can’t wait, I’ve heard many good things about it!
(Still) Unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri
Lots of Candles, Plenty Of Cake by Anna Quindlen
Mostly fruits and veggies, 3 small meals and 3 “snacks”…dr.’s orders. It seems I don’t eat often enough, or right enough.
Got another cord for my iFit treadmill, so I can start doing my 12 week walking workout. I already do Qi Gong, and plan on starting Pilates.
Dr. also told me to start doing stretching exercises on my leg. If that doesn’t work, I’ll have to start PT. This was my 3rd time seeing this dr. and he’s my favorite. The other drs. I told about my leg just said to try to use it like I normally would. HELLO…if I could do that there wouldn’t be a problem. Dr. John actually bent and straightened my leg himself to see what it was doing and then told me the muscle in the back of my knee is way too tight. And he told me the exercises I need to do to loosen it up.
It’s so much easier to stay active than it is to stop being active and having to rebuild your strength and stamina
Looking Forward To:
Gaining back my strength and stamina
