Last weekend my hubby and I went to St. Augustine with our daughter and SIL. We toured the lighthouse and climbed all the way to the top. Quite a feat for my daughter and I who are afraid of heights. That’s a lot of steps, but it was well worth it. The view was awesome!

  1. Kind of makes me dizzy just to look at this one. I've got no head for heights, so I would have stayed on the ground. Bet it was a beautiful view though.

  2. I love that photo! It reminds of the spiral of a nautilus.

  3. Lighthouses are so pretty from the outside, I never thought they'd be pretty on the inside too.

  4. I'm afraid of heights too – I'm not sure I could have made that with those stairs!

  5. Love this!

  6. Beautiful shot. I love the perspective looking up. Glad you had a good time – St A is awesome!

  7. Great spiral! I love that kind of thing in photographs

  8. what a great perspective–I'd like to climb to the top of a lighthouse just once in my life. thanks for stopping by today.

  9. Awesome photo! Reminds me of those scary movies where someone tries to escape from someone in pursuit, and the stairway winds around and around….

    Thanks for visiting my blog.

  10. That shot is awesome. I'd be afraid to go to the top.

  11. Eeek, my knees feel wobbly just looking at that. It seems the older I get the more my feet like to stay firmly planted on the ground.

  12. That is a very cool perspective. It has a modern art look to it.

  13. Love the perspective! I am from an area near St. Augustine so I have spent a lot of time in that city during my lifetime.

  14. Fantastic shot. I love the composition. I adore lighthouses, but I've only been to a few of them.

  15. I am afraid of heights too 🙂 But I would climb it too 🙂 Awesome pic 🙂
